This Barbie girl took a break from her Barbie world.
Valeria Lukyanova, 28, the so-called human Barbie, recently shared a selfie showing what she looks like beneath her heavy layers of makeup and toy-like contact lenses.
Many people suspect that Lukyanova got her strange appearance through plastic surgery, but she claims her breast implants are the extent of her time under the knife, according to HumanBarbie.org.
The Ukrainian model initially raised eyebrows across the world by morphing herself into a living replica of the Mattel doll. Her outrageous claim of wanting to live off light and air alone and shun solid food — as something called a "breatharian" — has drawn the ire of critics.
She came under fire recently for controversial statements she made in an interview with GQ about how "race-mixing" is responsible for the popularity of plastic surgery.
