Visualisation 'shows asteroid hits'

Information on the frequency with which the Earth is hit by asteroids has been released by the B612 foundation, which includes astronauts and scientists.

It said that a network of sensors operated by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Or! ganisation had detected 26 explosion on Earth between 2000 and 2013, ranging from one to 600 kilotons caused by asteroid impacts.
